The Dixie Beehives would like to announce the signing of Mark Spadafora to a card with the 2010/11 Dixie Beehives Jr. 'A' Hockey Team.
Mark is a resident of Toronto who spent this past year with the Don Mills Flyers Major Midget 'AAA' hockey team in the Greater Toronto Hockey League. Mark was born in 1993 and is 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 165 pounds and a left shot. He is a forward. In 64 games last season, Mark had 18 goals, 24 assists for a total of 42 points.
According to one of his Don Mills coaches last year, he said: "In Mark, you are signing not only a very good hockey player but an outstanding young man. His potential I believe will lead him to better opportunities. He has outstanding speed, great on the fore-check, a fierce competitor, and a quiet and determined leader. He can play all situations with confidence."
